Innovation and Tech Law Network (ITELAN) is a self regulatory organization established with the aims of bridging the gap between law and technology/innovation. As part of our mandate, we organizes summit/conferences to foster industry collaboration and nurture an efficient ecosystem.

Innovation and Tech Law Network (ITELAN) is a self regulatory organization established with the aims of bridging the gap between law and technology/innovation. As part of our mandate, we organizes summit/conferences to foster industry collaboration and nurture an efficient ecosystem.
We are focused towards building a robust technology industry in Nigeria including in emerging technologies like blockchain, fintech, artificial intelligence, robotics, big data, data privacy, cyber security etc, and the Network serves as a hub for the congregation of ideas and engagement of stakeholders across industries.
Our core areas are professional development, stakeholder engagement, tech ecosystem development, steering the conversation and changing the narrative towards emerging technologies, sensitisation and education.
The Innovation and Tech Law Summit is an annual event organized by Innovation and Tech Law Network, gathering thought leaders in technology companies, lawyers, payment companies, government/regulatory agencies and startups, techpreneurs and venture capitalists to discuss various ways to improve the ecosystem, the latest trends and showcase products
The inaugural Innovation and Law Tech Summit took place on the 29th of November, 2019 at Commerce House, 1 Idowu Taylor street, Victoria Island, Lagos. The summit revolved around the critical role of the different stakeholders in ensuring an enabling environment for digital innovation to thrive, and how we can leverage technology to improve legal services and business.

Our training with the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Fintech Foundation Course for Young Lawyers and Practitioners was widely attended and received acclaims. We have also partnered with the Financial Institution Training Centre and Digital Lawyers Initiative to develop trainings for our members
